Week of 10/14/08
Computers:Grades 3-6
This week we will print our tables in Microsoft Word. We will also work on our activities for Anthracite Heritage Week, Fire Prevention, Halloween and the upcoming election. Typing Pal and Study Island will continue as well.
Grades K-2
This week the students will work on their lessons in Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/). They will work on letter recognition and reading words and sentences/books. We will also work on our activities for Anthracite Heritage Week, Fire Prevention (www.usfa.dhs.gov/kids) , Halloween (online pumpkin carving) and the upcoming election (www.whitehouse.gov/kids), ( http://www.nick.com/kpp/), (http://www.timeforkids.com/TFK/election08/). Typing Pal, Accelerated Reader and Study Island will also continue for 2nd grade.
