Week of 9/29/08
Computers:
Grades 3-6
This week we will continue to work in Microsoft Word to create tables. We will also use the Internet to get Clip Art for our projects. A keyboarding program -Typing Pal will also be introduced. Practice using the Home Row.
Grades K-2
This week the students will continue to log into our Brain Pop Jr. program. They will watch a video lesson on a certain topic, take a quiz on that topic and finally play a game that goes along with the lesson. The Paint program will also be used for more "mouse control" practice. Second Grade will also log into Typing Pal and learn the Home Row. A new program: www.starfall.com will be introduced next week.
