Computers:

Grades 3-6
Students are making a CD label, Calendar or Power Point Flip Book. Keyboarding skills will also be practiced for the 3rd 9 weeks using the new Typing Pal program. Our "class" newspaper in Microsoft Word for the 4th 9 weeks will be continued.

Grades K-2
Phonics Express will be continued. The ABC site and keyboarding skills will continue. The next lesson in Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/) will be done.

Students have been working on doing research for President's Day. This will be used with the President's Day Power Point activity. After the White House Scavenger hunt assignment......Keyboarding skills will be practiced for the 3rd 9 weeks, as well as, Study Island assignments.

Grades K-2
Keyboarding skills are being introduced as students begin typing in Microsoft Word. They did a scavenger hunt assignment using www.whitehouse.gov. They are working on a President's Day activity. The next lesson in Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/) will continue, as well as, Typing Pal, Accelerated Reader and Study Island.
