Grades 3-6
Students have been working on doing research for President's Day. This will be used with the President's Day Power Point activity. After the White House Scavenger hunt assignment......Keyboarding skills will be practiced for the 3rd 9 weeks, as well as, Study Island and Valentine's Day assignments.

Grades K-2

Keyboarding skills are being introduced as students begin typing in Microsoft Word. They will be doing a scavenger hunt assignment using www.whitehouse.gov. They will begin working on a President's Day and Valentine's Day activity. The next lesson in Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/) will continue, as well as, Typing Pal, Accelerated Reader and Study Island.

This will also help them with the President's Day Power Point activity. NET DAY SURVEYS will be completed this week. Kidspiration projects will continue. Students will have the option to create their gingerbread or candy cane assignment in Kidspiration or Microsoft Word. Research on the Internet will also be practiced and Internet safety discussed. Keyboarding skills and Math/Reading skills will continue to be reviewed in Typing Pal and Study Island.

Grades K-2
NET DAY SURVEYS will be completed this week.
This week the students will continue their next project: Kidspiration - All About Me projects. They will continue to work on their next lesson in Starfall (http://www.starfall.com/) and talk about Internet safety. Typing Pal, Accelerated Reader and Study Island will also continue.
